Temaki

On Monday night, I visited Temaki for the first time. Located on Hope Street, the small Japanese restaurant is inspired by the street food of New York and has even brought the Sushi Burrito to Glasgow. I would have tried the Sushi burrito for blog’s sake, but I hate the taste of fish and seaweed and any sushi in general. I’ve tried to enjoy it many times seeing as it looks so pretty however, no, I hate it. I absolutely love all other non-fishy, non-seaweedy Japanese food, so was excited to try Temaki and see how it compares to my all-time fav place, Ichiban. We ordered some mixed tempura as a side – sweet potato and king prawn. I’m already being a hypocrite here because I do actually love prawns, my 1 of maybe 3 small fish exceptions. I will say already that this was my favourite part of the full meal. Amazing. Now for the main meals, starting with a beef bento box.
