Only ever been to Nando's...
I've always been a restaurant chain loyal and that will probably never change. Once I find a food I like, I can eat it every day until the thought of it makes me feel physically sick. And so it helps when such food is so widely available with multiple restaurant chain locations dotted around almost everywhere I go. While writing this Nando's just naturally springs to mind, my friends and I have made countless visits and every visit is made worth it when I get a free meal on my loyalty card. So I'm not about to slate Nando's, or any other restaurant chain.
However, over the past few years it's become more apparent to me how vast the choices are for eating out in Glasgow. All I need to do is click onto the explore page on Instagram to find somewhere new I want to try. With the growth of food blogger presence, on Instagram especially, eating out more often than not is evermore tempting. It was obvious to me to write this blog on food and restaurants, trying out some of the places that have been brought to my attention on social media and also through word of mouth. Some of the places that I previously would have walked right by on the street have become my favourite spots through the recommendation of others.
This blog will focus on small-ish, independent restaurants and cafes around Glasgow that I am trying, giving my own personal reviews. I don't consider myself any sort of food critic, but I will give some brief descriptions and upload plenty of pictures so you can decide for yourself if it looks worth trying, which it often will be. So if you simply just enjoy looking at other people's food posts like me, then you should enjoy this blog. Or maybe you're in need of some ideas for new places to try, like her;
